Sorry, Tia, I don't have any references, just personal experience and words
from parents of multiples I've instructed that this works:

For twins--double pump for 20 minutes at least every 3 hours during the day.
At night, get some sleep, but pump if you wake up feeling uncomfortable.
For triplets, 30 minutes at the same frequency, for quadruplets 40 minutes
with the same frequency.  If Mom puts babies to breast around one of the
pump times, she certainly does not need to pump unless the babies still are
very immature in their sucking, and are unable to empty her probably very
full breasts.   As always with multiples or with any baby, encourage Mom to
put the baby to breast as often as she can during the day.  I've seen many
mothers of triplets quit breastfeeding as they never got babies to latch
well, and were sick of pumping and feeding all the time.
