Hello to all and Happy New Year!
I have been enjoying all of the discussion about how to make BF classes
more memorable, and how to help moms retain the valuable info they are
given. While reading about the certain theories as to why this "fogginess"
occurs, a certain condition came to my mind; MATERNAL AMNESIA !
I believe this is an actual term used for the loss of short-term memory
that some mothers experience while pregnant and in their postpartum months
(or years!). I can remember reading about this a few years ago....and
thought it was very funny, yet quite useful; I still claim to experience my
own moments of "maternal amnesia", even though my son is now six! (hehe)
