My previous post about the information shared with me on pacifiers, SIDS etc.
was strickly informational. I had hoped that perhaps someone else had more
information. My posts were just some thoughts I had, in society we hear of
one recommendation then another based on limited studies, etc. this occurs in
every facet of society. One day we should be avoiding this or that, and the
next we should eat 2 a day.

I truly feel each case is very individual in the management of breastfeeding
couplets. In some cases pacifier use may be beneficial, but again in the
healthy newborn is it truly necessary? I don't know. It will be interesting
to see more data.
