In a message dated 99-09-04 08:22:07 EDT, you write:
<< don't know. That's a question for her OB. I've never met the mom.
Hey, I was just asking, 'nkay. >>
Theresa, I apologize for the tone that came through. I really wasn't
addressing my comments/questions directly to you. I think I was expressing
frustration due to wondering why her doctor(s) hadn't explored further with
her. I'd find it hard to provide info only re: estrogen-containing BCPs when
that seems like only a piece of a bigger problem.
I have a related question for anyone re: estrogen-containing IUDs. Within
the last year I read a WHO report discouraging estrogen-containing BCP of any
sort during lactation related to drops in production, yet it then indicated
estrogen-containing IUDs were compatible. How can this be? Would think
estrogen in system is estroen in system?!? Any info would be appreciated.
(And I 'll try to dig through the pile of refs I have out just now and see if
I can come up with the citation for that report.)
Karen
