the idea about the APNO is that the active ingredients get absorbed into the
skin quickly, not leaving a lot around on the surface of the skin for the
baby to ingest. this is another case of understanding how these drugs work.
topical ointments are designed to be absorbed quickly, because they won't do
much good sitting on the surface. and what about the ingredients or lack
thereof in ABM? sheesh.
