There's no indication in the literature I've reviewed (been looking at
bf after Rx for breast cancer) that she should stop bf UNLESS cancer is
diagnosed. However, with her family hx - even without it - I wouldn't
wait until December but move the appt and, hopefully,
ultrasound/bx/MRI/whatever since the literature DOES indicate that
breast cancers during pregnancy and lactation are more aggressive and
tend to have a worse prognosis. Let me know if you need the references
