<< I've noticed that people who are LLLLs are no longer signing their posts
to Lactnet with LLLL. Is there an issue with this. Probably best to
e-mail me privately. (I'm not on any of the LLL lists right now.) >>
Most people on this list will be recognized as individuals speaking for
themselves. If tired and hurried late at night we write something inane, it
reflects mostly on ourselves. Since the list is public in that anyone can
search the archives, there is a certain risk that a misstatement could be
used against one. If the writer is an LLL Leader, there is a risk that
someone could say, "LLL says thus and so; isn't that dreadful." This may
sound a bit paranoid unless you have read some of the things published about
LLL where the author is indifferent to the niceties of the distinction
between the views of an individual and the positions of the group.
