I am finally home from my week-long road trip with LLLI.  It was great to
meet LactNetters in Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, and Chicago, to see old
friends again, and to put new faces to familiar names, and to make a LOT of
new friends.

The morning before the Baltimore conference (Sunday, October 3) I had made
arrangements to meet friends and relatives at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
Coincidentally (??), the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation "Race for
the Cure" was being held that same morning at the Inner Harbor, so there
were 10,000+ runners doing a 5 km run to raise money for breast cancer
research.  The traffic jam was stupendous, but it was pretty amazing to be
there among all those people.

There were a bunch of articles in the Baltimore paper about breast cancer,
some of which said some pretty bizarre things about breasts.  Will type
those in later, if I get a minute.

Thanks again to all who sent good wishes, prayers, cards, etc.  I do
appreciate them all.

I am feeling much better, still have a stiff shoulder from the second
surgery.  Will find out more about treatment options this coming Friday.

I've missed LactNet terribly.  :(
