Jane said,

<< After his sister was born, I gave up trying and we all slept together.
Guess
what? His nightmares stopped and my 2nd and 3rd children never had any. I
think many nightmares are the result of a child's inability to cope. >>

I wonder how many "night terrors" could be averted in children who co-sleep.
Not just the run-of-the-mill nightmares, but the "terrors" in which children
are sleep screaming and aren't really awake -- can't awaken to tell the
parents what the problem is.

I wonder.

Jan -- who really still lives in Wheaton, IL despite the Wake/AHEC brochure
that listed her address and Jane's as one and the same. No, not living in
VA. Not yet, anyway, though VA and NC are running neck and neck as my
favorite states to retire to!
