I agree, but *not* so much because only that way we can see the 'real' pain.

To be honest, if someone tells me something hurts, I just believe 'em....!

I agree, Valerie - wondering if they are wimps are not is irrelevant. They
may well  be, compared to the stoicism of people elsewhere, but  who knows?
As someone else said, in this work you see a great deal of stoicism and
determination, in the face of great pain (hell, I've been there myself and
got the blood-stained tee-shirt!)

But I do agree mothers need to be seen whenever possible, so the feeding
can be observed. And you have to know what you are looking for, and to take
every aspect of the whole thing - those two thing are lacking in UK health
professionals' practice (or some of them - whoops!)
