Yes there are studies that show a decrease in asthma in breastfed children.
A recent study at King Edward Memorial Hospital (Perth) demonstrated that
children were 30% less likely to develop asthma and 40% less likely to
develop other atopic allergies such as rhinitis and hayfever is they were
breastfed.
