I just have to say how wonderful it was to see 99% of the babies,
toddlers being worn by their moms and dads. We are carrying slings in
our Lactation Center now but our population has a long way to go,
*buckets* are the substitute of parenting arms around this area. It was
great not seeing pacifiers and bottles! And such well behaved
children! It was such a joy to see so many happy children and
parents. What a shame all parents or parents-to-be aren't exposed to
this type of parenting.
I did see one mom in the LLL book store with the rabbit bag! AARRGG! I
did speak with her a little but she was completely confused (and
offended) that I didn't understand that there was no formula in it and
she had better things to spend her money on than a diaper bag. There
was NO reasoning with this woman. I guess there is "one in every
crowd"!
