It's all been visited before, but I have a mom who wants to quit bf by
Dec (baby DOB 9/99) Her grandmother and mother both had breast cancer,
and during her pregnancy some lumps were discovered in her breasts. Her
specialist told her he would see her in December to do something,
biopsy? and she could bf til then.
My advice was to tell them that you would rather not stop bf, but to
keep the Dec appt, and plan on going back to bf unless there is
radiation to be done--worst case scenario.
What evidence can I give her? I just found out that her husband is a
ER physician, so research articles to refer to may be just the ticket.
