Recently a mother and baby were transfered to our level 2 nursery. Baby ,
now 34 weeks, was born at 24 week gest, ventilated x5 weeks and is still
unstable.(9weeks old) Mom had been pumping since delivery (she is a 40 year
old primip), but had never been able to pump more than 5 cc's. I was able
to give her a few suggestions regarding pumping and supplements, but I
wonder if at this point, she will ever be able to pump much more milk. She
is very tired of this pumping routine. any words of encouragement or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
