I would advise AGAINST intro of peanut products since the baby could also be
allergic. I don't know if the intro of nuts into mom's diet would actually
de-sensitize the baby. Doesn't sound likely. She could introduce the food
much later in life [after 1 yr or so?] with a very small dose and observe
carefully. By the way, How bad is the Dad's allergy? And can we get a good
pedi allergist on lactnet?
