Previously, I wrote: " I have Afrin Nasal Spray which is just saline

saline. Do not confuse Afrin with saline."
Afrin does indeed make plain saline solution in a spritzer-type bottle. I
looks just the other Afrin bottle, but the label is blue, and it is clearly
labelled as Afrin Moisturizing Saline Mist. Also on the front label it says:
"Non-medicated, drug-free, moisturizes dry nasal passages, use as often as
needed." On the back, the ingredients are listed as: water, PEG-32, sodium
chloride, PVP, disodium phosphate, sodium phosphate, benzalonium chloride,
disodium EDTA."
This doesn't mean it is appropriate for using on sore nipples. I was just
using it as an example of how cheap saline solutions can be at the store,
and how you didn't need a prescription to get Afrin saline.
