Well, maybe not put that way, Cathy, but the relative (um) prominance of
men's personal indicators (now there's a great euphemism) does come and go
with fashion...what about cod pieces on the front of men's hose? Or those
fly-buttons on the outside fashionable in the early 70s? Hipster jeans? And
apparently, male strippers (I hear) get themselves half-prominent before
going on stage, and the requisite effect is maintained with an elastic band
placed to prevent detumescence - then removed with some relief apparently
at the end of the show.
Hm...off topic or what.....: )
