Hello all!  I'm back home in Texas.  I had a great time at the LLLI
Conference in Orlando.  Got to meet LOTS AND LOTS of LactNet buddies in
person for the first or second time.  These major LLLI conferences are just
so amazingly awesome it is impossible to describe.  The best part, as
always, is seeing all the beautiful and happy and well-loved babies, all the
dads caring for babies and toddlers, all the happy families.  In some ways a
very bizarre contrast to the dis-attached, child abuse scenarios we (my
family and I) saw during our visits to the Disney World theme parks.
Several times I had to walk away from other parents waiting in line with
their children who were cranky and tired and crying -- and the parents were
threatening to leave them.  My sister suggested we just offer to take these
kids permanently!  "So, fed up with your kids?  Threatening to abandon them?
Fine, we'll take them home and love them."

Anyway, I had a wonderful time at the conference and really enjoyed seeing
and talking to so many LactNet buddies.
