I have a four-month-old, born at the IWK hospital here in Halifax, Nova
Scotia. Both eye drops and vit. K were given about 3 hours after birth
when we were both ready for a nap.
Something wonderful they are starting here is having baby and mom take
their first bath after birth together. I can't even think of words to
describe how lovely it was, all that warm water and skin-to-skin without
blankets.
