I have to admit that I'm a bit dismayed by the lawsuit thread and the
consensus that a lawsuit or the threat of one will give you better care.
I will agree that some docs are difficult to get along with and can be
unpleasant especially when you don't agree with their agenda. [Please note
that some patients are difficult to get along with and can be unpleasant
when you don't agree with their agenda]
I will also agree that some docs are not receptive to new information. [or
are very selective about what they will consider a proper "source" of info]
I think it would be hard to maintain a good, open, doctor/patient
relationship with someone who you were threatening with a lawsuit. You will
probably need to find a new doctor - if you have a choice in this day of
insurance dictating who you can see.
