Then again I remember listening to a food tech guy talking about research
that measured milk intake in babies whose mothers had been given alcohol
(beer I think), garlic or vanilla essence. The babies intake decreased
after the mothers consumed alcohol, stayed the same after garlic and, you
guessed it, increased after vanilla intake. I have always thought it
hilarious that babies like vanilla milkshake. Maybe vanilla tablets would
help increase supply by increasing the vigor of the suck?! ;-)
