I would like to second Carol's opinion about this mom.  I have worked
with a client (non-bf related) in my other professional capacity - as a
geriatric social worker.  This woman has some serious issues to work
through.  I doubt she will ever breastfeed.  She does, however, need some
professional help.  Undoubtedbly, she suffered some severe trauma at some
point in her life.  This is way beyond the scope of breastfeeding the and
breastfeeding professional/counselor/LLLL, etc. to help her sort out.
She will do it when she is able/needs to do it and may never get to that
point in her life.

I would, however, give her accurate information about this "disease."
It's important to stay in reality here.
