I am thinking that it is a shame that some folks feel like they have to give
a shield in the first 12 hours, while the mother is still hospitalized,
....This is a problem, in my opinion. I think that sometimes, people who
are rushed, overworked with too many patients, feel like they have to exit
from a situation...have to fix it before the patient is discharged, so they
give the mom a shield, or some other thing. Unfortunately, this is not
warranted in many cases, but the nurse then feels like she has done her part.
So unfortunate and unsatisfying. for both patient and nurse.
