A friend is dealing with an unusual situation surrounding a divorce. The
mom is required to attend a class, in the interest of addressing the needs
of the children experiencing the divorce. She has a nursing six week old.
The instructors have told her she cannot bring the baby to class. She does
not want to separate during this time. The class is two hours long and
thirty minutes from home. She would be gone at least three hours and is
uncomfortable with this. While friends have offered to hold the baby in the
hall, this mom is angry at the position she has been put in. Anyone with
insight, experience or advice, legal or otherwise?
Thanks,
Joanne McCrory
