Goat's milk as a supplement to human breast milk has come up on another
list. Goats milk as a baby food or supplement to breastmilk is not
something I recommend. There does seem to be an urban myth in the
homebirth/natural living community that goat's milk is most like human milk
and thus with a few additives, like vitamins, iron, flax oil and maple
syryp, it makes a suitible and nutritious drink for a baby. I'm looking for
information why goat's milk is not. I know why human breast milk is best but
I do not have the information documenting why goat's milk is not a good
supplement. Please send ideas.
