Thank you, Laura, for this great insight into some Southern women and
how thet view themselves. To me, this makes a LOT of sense...and there
are probably many, many other "types" of women, with various self
concepts about theis femininity,  physical abilities, mothering, etc.
(This could develop into an incredible discussion, which might help us
better understsnd why some women choose not to breastfeed, why some stop
prematurely, etc.)
