I'm behind in reading and the slumber party topic may have run its course.
But I'm enjoying the joking back & forth about it.

A number of years ago, in a previous, unrelated business, there was a
slumber party on the program for a conference I attended. It was a national
conference for women business owners, several hundred in attendance with
some pretty influential types among the crowd. After a day of serious
subjects, the last gathering was called a "slumber party". We attended
wearing pj's and carrying a pillow & perhaps blanket from our hotel room.
There was a podium in the room, but no chairs at all and we sprawled all
over the floor. There was a presentation by someone who interprets dreams -
very serious for the presenter I'm sure, but certainly tongue in cheek. We
were given a goodie bag with wonderful chocolate chip cookies to munch on
for our bedtime snack.

It's so nice when we don't take ourselves too seriously.
