Hi,All,
Brief intro, since I have been reading posts faithfully, but not posted in
a long time, and then under old name: I'm Lora, hospital based LC and
childbirth educator.  We currently have a BF Resource Team, composed of
nurses from postpartum, nursery,Mother-baby,(L&D welcome,but not many
takers),and we provide two four-hour trainings each year, members shadow an
LC and complete competency checklist, have quarterly meetings, with other
inservices offered in-hosp. to all staff. We want to really promote this
team, for one, because we cannot be there 24/7, and also to help educate
and encourage all staff to be accountable and able to help.  Does anyone
else have similar team?  If so, (or,if not!)any suggestions for recruiting,
other motivating?  If you are staff nurse, what do you think?
