Nursing mom of two year old has been having urinary frequency, diagnosed as
female urethral syndrome. MD wants her to try Flomax (tamsulosin HCl).
This medication is only used in males apparently, but he wants her to try
it. Has been treated with urethral dilation before which helped, but they
did that again, and it didn't help this time.
Can't find it in Hale, obviously since it is not for women! Any information
would be appreciated. Mom is waiting to hear before she fills prescription.
She feels like she needs to urinate constantly. No relief. Help!
