Hi, All,
Thanks for the suggestions for my mom with acute one-sided engorgement. It
gradually resolved, but the next day her six week old baby spiked a fever.
The plot thickens...
I have a question about books for prepping for the IBCLE this July. I own
a copy of Milk, Money and Madness by Dia Michels. (Hi, Dia!) I see that
on the IBCLE suggested reading list to study for the exam, they list
Gabrielle Palmer's Politics of Breastfeeding. They do not list Dia's MMM.
Why is this? I have not yet read Politics of BF, but I gathered that the
two books cover similar topics, no? Would my re-reading MMM which I
already own, be sufficient to review these topics for the Exam, or would
you recommend I purchase Palmer's Politics of Breastfeeding? Is one more
research based than the other?
Just wondering.
Thanks.
