Lisa,
Have this mom give the poor baby something for pain! Do you have Tylenol
drops for babies there? Baby teething gel? Ice?
It sounds as though this baby is in a lot of (teething) pain. Tylenol, baby
ibuprofin drops will help a lot, especially at night. Baby teething gels are
fine for the short time, until the other meds start to work (usually a 20-30
min. delay from time taking the med until it starts working). Ice to the
gums helps, too. Wet some baby washcloths and freeze them. Baby can use
them as chew toys, and they will soothe the gums.
I hope that things will settle down for the mom. Unhappy baby when under
extra stress is difficult.
