Sometimes the way I say it to moms is this:

Pretty soon there will come a day when you realize breastfeeding has gotten
easy.  Your breasts and nipples feel fine, the baby gets on without any
trouble, you're changing lots of good diapers...that's the time to start
experimenting with the pump and the bottle.
