I'm catching up on L-net having just put on a conference last Friday.
Nancy Wight and Kay Hoover were the speakers. I would have invited everyone
but Kathy B wouldnt let me, she wouldnt even let me post it and say "The
devil made me do it".  ;-)  (Some day I will get myslef in trouble)
Anyway, as I read the AAP statement in reference to co-sleeping I don't see
that it discourages co-sleeping just isn't supportive.
In light of this I don't really encourage co-sleeping to decrease SIDS risk
but do promte it to increase bonding and breastfeeding. And of course openly
say my wife and I co-sleep (with the baby) so poeple know its OK.
