Mary Kay, sad story, but you handled it very well.  I'll be sure and use
the "why do you ask" line.  That's a good one.  I also like what you said
about attributing every kooky idea to LLL when there is really no basis for
it.  Of course, there will be a lot of backsplash from the new Peds article
& co-sleeping.  Don't you wish we weren't always having to put out new
fires or be constantly defending ourselves and our beliefs ?  You'll
