I have been corresponding with a new mom who purchased a pump from me and
originally wanted to return it (that's beside the point), but she mentioned
to me that her milk never "came in" due to prednisone use. She was advised
of this by a local certififed lactation consultant who told her that
prednisone use prior to an established milk supply can suppress it. I have
searched the archives and read what Hale has to say about the drug and came
up with nothing to support this theory. Do any of you know anything about
this?

Thanks!

Becky Flora
