Hi everybody,

My question for the group.

What could cause a 1st time mother to be very ill to her stomach every
day.  This started day 3 and has not stopped since. However is a little
better somedays.

This starts first thing in the morning with throwing up bile.  This is
never food although she thinks she will throw up after eating. She is
unable to eat anything until somewhere between 11am and 1 or 2 pm.

She is now eating the same thing everyday because she is afraid to add
anything new.  The baby is now 1 month old.  She now is eating 1 egg and
toast first meal, 2nd meal is a like turkey sandwich with lettuce and
banana, dinner about 8 pm is stir fry veggie rice with chicken.

Then doesn't eat till after 11 am the next day. I suggested grazing with
very small amount at a time.  Having almonds, and piece of friut to take
a bite of in the night or morning.  She said she has tried that.

Her baby is gaining 1 1/2 oz per day.
