Never heard of this Letitia - and I would be rather concerned about the
baby ingesting the olive oil. No idea if it would speed healing or not -
can't think why it would. Any ideas, anyone?

There is no substitute for checking position and attachment of baby!
Anything else applied to the nipples should only ever be in addition to a
careful observation of what the mother and the baby are doing in this
regard. Sometimes very difficult for bf-savvy HPs to teach their colleagues
what to look for, and avoid the odder 'remedies', I know.
