We have been told by the state of CA that we need to close our boarder
rooms and can no longer have moms stay in empty rooms. We were told this is
a result of our recent JACHO (? I can never remember the right initials)
inspection and part of new rules they have set.
Does anyone know anything about this? How do boarding rooms work in your
hospital? It is just breaking the hearts of these moms to have to leave
their babies not to mention making breastfeeding so much HARDER!
