I am not putting the onus on the milk banks but it sounds like we need a
big marketing campaign in the USA. How is it on the international scene.
Maybe for WBW (would it fit in with the education theme?) educating
about the existence, reasons to use, etc of milk banks. Maybe all the
milk banks could coordinate and target areas in their own regions. Esp.
large NICUs, high profile children's hospitals and then - follow-up with
media coverage when the milk is used. This would increase awareness and
then other units would see - oh Saint Jude's (or Emory's) uses donor
milk.
