I have an old Hale and this med was not listed. It is an oral contraceptive
containing estrogen. Baby is 4.5 months old and breastfeeding 4x per day.
Other than decreasing supply, are there any other side effects or concerns I
should tell Mom. I have already suggested progestin-only BC. We'll see how
that turns out. Mom is experiencing "heavy" periods the med is for the
bleeding.
Sorry I only have the trade name, I know how Jack hates that :-) , but my
info is from baby's pediatrician and he was not familiar with the drug (I
imagine he doesn't prescribe a lot of BC in his practice).
