Actually if the pt has an ins co that pays for the rx, then the ins co says
what they can have (formularies). In addition many drug cos are connected
to the ins co, which is called vertical integration and leads to
monopolies. Unfortunately when anti-monopoly laws were written years ago
ins cos were exempted because no one could foresee a situation where an ins
co could be a monopoly. Ack. You would think BF would be an asset for an
