During conference "season,"  many people seek roommates/contacts, etc. on
LACTNET.  It would be more appropriate if the conference in question
already is part of an organization that has its own web page or email
contact site to use THEIR site for such inquiries.

Case in point:  ILCA has determined that LACTNET is *not* an appropriate
link to their webpage.  Therefore, it would not be appropriate to post
requests relating to ILCA on the LACTNET digests.

We would appreciate if you would redirect such inquiries to ILCA
directly.
There are many many people on LACTNET who are neither members of ILCA nor
interested or planning to attend their conferences. Please send such
requests to the more appropriate site.
