I would suggest an immediate evaluation by a chiropractor. C-section babies
are in the 'high-risk' category for misaligned neck vertebrae, as they are
pulled out by the head through a relatively small hole, usually with the
use of forceps (I believe, anyway - I don't work in a hospital to see
this). If the misalignment is severe (which sounds possible here from your
description of the baby's feeding, and the neck problem), it could impact
the suck as well.

And Kate, you are right - it is ridiculous to suggest that it would be
impossible to rebuild the supply. What a cop-out. If people don't know the
answer or other things to suggest to mothers, then they should keep
referring until they find someone who can help.

You are doing great supporting this mum - this will do wonders for her
confidence in herself and her dermination to find answers.
