Flonase is being used quite often in our area for allergic rhinitis
relief. I looked it up in hale and it seems like a good option for a
nursing mom. "Fluticasone (intranasal, inhaled steriod) When instilled
intra-nasally, the absolute bio-avalability is less than 2%, so
virtually none of the dose is absorbed systemically..it is not likely
that milk levels will be clinically relevant even with rather high
doses."
