personally I have some doubts whether or not HIV causes AIDS, but I think
the question remains is whether or not breastfeeding causes HIV infection.,
I understand the two cases you pointed out, but couldn't there be some
variabilities as well in terms of mom's overall health when infected, what
stage of infection she is in possibly. Maybe whether or not AZT was being
given? With only two cases to consider, I still find it difficult to
unquestionably say that breastfeeding does transmit HIV. Do we need more
research on this topic?
