Elizabeth, I agree with your implication that this is significant.

Yes - he might have done. What about co-bathing, and not repeatedly
'offering' the breast, just having it sorta 'there' so he feels under no
pressure, and just careful watching and waiting?

mothers who have had a lot of success with cranio-sacral therapy, BTW. But
maybe this little boy is trying to say 'back off, will ya!'
How I *wish* mothers and babies were not mauled about by different people
(not all of whom have a clue what they are doing....well-meaning they may
be, but well-meaning is not enough) in those precious early days.
