Thanks Marsha for the lesson in "buying food."  You make a great point that
honestly never  crossed my mind.  I will keep it in mind when we have these
discussions.  My breastfeeding moms whose babies are on Peds do get dinner
trays in place of "food" for babies.  You certainly are right about the
"excuse" also.  There is much resistance to the term "Baby Friendly" among
our doctors.  They find it offensive that a hospital that does not go through
the 10 steps is not baby friendly.  We have a way to go, but we have come so
far that I cannot be too depressed.  It thrills me when I call Pediatricians
and discuss cases with them and receive their referrals.  This would not have
happened a few years back.
