I am a Lactation Consultant in Eugene Oregon. I have been reading Lactnet for about 2years now and want to thank all of you for the wealth of information and support it has provided. When I saw the reference to "concealed" users I thought that may have referred to lurkers like me. I have no desire to be concealed so am introducing myself.
I work in a newly expanded hospital based lactation program. Twelve hours a week, (4 hours a day, 3 days a week) I am an LC based in the postpartum area. The other 20 hours of my 32 hour position I work as a Labor and Delivery staff nurse. I will be attending my first ILCA conference this year and am looking forward to meeting many of you who have been a part of my daily life with your posts to lactnet.
Hooray for the wonderful group from Eugene who took the exam on Monday!
Neta Courcey RNC, IBCLC
