Good for you, Cindy! My co-workers all made fun of me for refusing to take
the little rolls of Lifesavers, packaged with formula co. advertising label,
being handed out by a company rep, and they were downright irritated when I
said that we couldn't use their pregnancy wheels (to calculate wk.
gestation) at WIC. But what's right is right - and besides, not only is it
unethical for me as an LC, it's against WIC rules to use ANY product
displaying formula co. advertising or portraying bottle-feeding as "normal"
in a WIC clinic.
