I don't want to be a PIA, but here goes.  Why the ban on simple one time
announcements of up-coming conferences?  (ie: date, speakers and contact
person) I personally appreciate the info, as I don't get all snail mail
conf info from everyone, everywhere.  I also read Lactnet almost every day,
but rarely have time to visit other sites for info

I got to hear Kay Hoover and Dr Nancy Wight yesterday because someone was
kind enough to send me a message about a conf in North east PA (Thanks
Rob).  Kay's presentation on "First Latch" was worth the trip and I really
enjoyed hearing Dr. Nancy's critiques on new articles.  Nice to have a day
